About me:

 

I'm an award-winning journalist currently working in New Orleans, Louisiana as the Morning News co-anchor and 11am anchor for WGNO. 

 

I covered a city council investigation that resulted in the firing of the city manager and multiple severe weather events, including the Great Flood of 2016 in Southeast Louisiana.

 

I developed my own food segment called, "Four State Finds," that showcases local restaurants. Plus, produced a cooking segment called, "What's Carla Cooking?" on KSN Local News Today. I carried my love for food to Baton Rouge and continued my restaurant segment called, "Carla's Kitchen."

 

I'm originally from Buffalo, NY and moved to Chicago to study Broadcast Journalism for TV at Columbia College.
